Tourism Garrotxa is a private non-profit making association that, since 1996, has promoted the development of tourism that is sustainable and respectful of the environment. Tourism Garrotxa was one of the pioneering associations in this concept. Nowadays it has more than 30 members and more than 100 directly related companies (Serveis Turístics Adherits) and scores more indirectly linked (Serveis Turístics). In total it provides service to nearly 200 tourism companies in La Garrotxa.

In practice, Tourism Garrotxa is the tourism promotion body that unites practically every tourism sector in La Garrotxa that participates in the associated fabric of the region.
