Sustainable Management Code
The Code of Sustainable Management of La Garrotxa and Collsacabra is a tool that aims to promote the implementation of socially responsible management policies in public and private organizations of rural areas as a way to contribute to balanced and sustainable growth.
The Code is a guideline for institutions and companies that want to adopt management measures economic, social and environmental friendly people and the environment. There are 29 articles or commitments that generally define the measures to be taken to implement a CSR policy and which are, in a sense, the mission statement of the company or organization to its stakeholders, and 158 indicators qualitative or quantitative, to measure the level of compliance with previous articles, which are, in themselves, a drive towards continuous improvement of the company in terms of Corporate Social Responsibility.
Adherence to the Code involves a commitment to fulfill and a willingness to initiate a process of internal reflection aimed at improving the overall management of the organization and publication of an annual sustainability report.
The Code of Sustainable Management and Collsacabra Garrotxa was created in 2005 to the work and joint reflection Fundació Privada Garrotxa Líder, the Consorci de Medi Ambient i Salut Pública de la Garrotxa and the Consorci de Bebestar Social de la Garrotxa.
