How to get there - By public transport - Bycicles and public transport
Bicycles can be taken on some of TEISA's buses that run between Girona and Olot. The general regulations are the following.
· Transportation of bicycles is free.
· Passengers must travel on the same bus as their bike.
· Each bus carries a minimum of 2 bikes.
· Every passenger can take a maximum of: 2 suitcases or 1 suitcase and 1 bike.
· The driver can request bike front wheels be removed.
· Bikes are carried unpackaged.
· Passengers are recommended to arrive at the stop 10 minutes before the bus leaves to allow time to load bikes.
· Passengers are recommended to call the bus station in advance, to find out which buses and which services have space for bikes.
· TEISA is not responsible for any damage that may be caused to bikes.
Specific regulations for the Girona - Olot via Amer service (recommended service)
· Bikes can be taken direct from Olot-Girona and vice versa, and can also be loaded and unloaded at all covered stops (almost all of them).
Specific regulations for the Girona - Banyoles - Olot service
· Bikes can be taken from Olot bus station and unloaded at Banyoles town centre, and vice versa.
· Bikes can be taken from Banyoles town centre and unloaded at Girona Bus Station, and vice versa.
· On this service TEISA doesn't allow bikes to be carried direct from Olot-Girona or to be unloaded at other stops.
